I wanted to let folks know that shorebird migration at Bowerman Basin (Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge) is now underway. Basic information is available here, including the best viewing times (2 hours before and after high tide).
The Shorebird Festival page (scroll down for photos) gives some idea "who" might be showing up to have their picture taken. While this weekend is the expected peak, it looks as though there will be good opportunities through about Sunday, May 10.
