I really like this picture. It is a different look for a flower picture. Flower pictures tend to all look alike some of the time. This one is unique. I like the brightness and the reflection of the tulips. The way it is kind of like 3 segments makes order and balance out of it. I'm not sure, but the polarizer may have diminished the reflection. Yup, I agree with Donna - this is a really creative variation on the theme of tulips in the spring. I've come back to look at this image several times because it brings me joy....
Oh, wow; talk about a study of light! First the slighty overexposed real tulips give an ethereal look, then the light on the transluscent stems & grass behind, tulips' shadows on the granite, & the pièce de résistance: crystal-clear, glowing reflections on a neutral background. Awesome!!! ~Meagan
